We needed to snap a six-game losing streak, and we did.

In Philadelphia, the Pistons trailed 19-4 out of the gate. The Sixers led by double-digits for most of the first half for a 63-55 halftime edge.

However, we found our rhythm in the third quarter, taking our first lead of the game on back-to-back Brandon Jennings 3’s at 70-69. They were two electric shots. Will Bynum drained another, and Jennings completed the spurt with another step back trey. We closed the quarter up 84-81.

Bynum kept the lead for us with three straight jumpers at one point in the fourth. Philly battled and brought it within two points with five minutes left, 98-96.

Then, Andre Drummond, who was struggling, got an easy shot to get him going. On the next play, Jennings showed his passing skills by dropping a dime in Drummond’s lap. Pistons 102-98, 3:41 left. Jennings knocks in a three. Timeout 76ers.

Greg Monroe & Jennings made two free throws apiece to ice the game at 109-98 with 1:51 left. The final chance for the Sixers came at 110-102, but they bricked the triple try. 114-104 final.

NOTES: Allen Iverson was in the house. Josh Smith was not mentioned but did the most overall Piston damage with 22 points, 13 boards, seven assists, four steals, and five blocks. Monroe and Drummond also recorded 10+ rebounds, with Drum adding six blocks. The 14 Piston blocks were the most since 2006. Every Piston starter tallied double figures, and Bynum and Kyle Singler poured in an identical stat line of 16 points, eight rebounds, and three assists, respectively, off the bench.
