We opened up the can of whoop ass as soon as the ball was tipped, with J.J. Redick making his return and scoring eight of our first 12 points. The Clippers used 10-0 and 14-0 runs to build a 43-25 lead after one. Blake Griffin scored 18 points on 6-8 shooting from the floor and 6-7 from the line with three boards, two assists, two steals, and a blocked shot.

Both teams scored 27 in the 2nd for a 70-52 halftime lead.

The third quarter was hard to put into words, so many glowing adjectives come to mind. The Lakers scored eight points. At one point, DeAndre Jordan blocked three straight shots, picking up a technical along the way. G. The final swat inspired the Clips to take a 99-59 lead. We pulled the starters and rode into the sunset with an eventual 101-60 edge at the end of three.

Darren Collison scored 20 on 9-12 shooting and dished out seven assists, filling in for Chris Paul admirably. Griffin finished with 33 on 12-15 and 9-11 free throws with 12 rebounds, four steals, and two blocks. Redick scored 19, and Jordan swatted seven along with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
