The Republicans were in shambles after losing in 2012, clearly divided on major issues like birth control, gay rights, schools, giving away our jobs overseas (https://thesportingsnarf.com/2012/10/24/what-works-by-eric-ralph/). Thanks to proper aggressive campaigning, Barack Obama slaughtered Mitt Romney.
We should have rode that momentum into dominating Congress in yesterday’s polls. Instead, we let the Reps smears us with bull shit People magazine Ebola & Isis headlines. Not to mention we turned on our own President and party leader.
The media is partially to blame here. While we shouldn’t let it, it influences the masses when all they talk about is the same, dramatic headlines instead of the day to day poverty that really affects the masses. The Republicans are the one’s divided. Democrats: don’t pick apart your President for trying to help people.
