Not to take away from the win with the Nathan post!
Every Tiger in the lineup got a hit. Eugenio Suarez made his first career start and made the most of it, rocketing his first major league hit out of the ballpark in left field!
Nick Castellanos also knocked a solo shot to left field, helping earn starter Max Scherzer the win. The Tigers led 4-0 early, and Scherzer left the game with a 5-3 lead. Luckily, Detroit tacked on two extra runs later that inning to prevent the Nathan collapse from ruining a strong Saturday night downtown.
….Mr. Suarez……Mr. Suavey!…newest Tiger muscle helps the team hammer down those pesky Boston beans.
