We had it.
It’s hard to spoil Miggy’s over-the-monster home run, the back-to-back doubles by Prince Fielder and Victor Martinez, and the Alex Avila two-run homer. Max Scherzer went seven innings and left with a 5-1 lead.
We lost 6-5.
Back to Detroit for Justin Verlander.
………………..this was about as devastating a blow as I can ever remember………….of all the things I could say to Tiger Fans everywhere……..young snarf says it best…..we lost…..so lets pick ourselves up and dust off those bitter ashes of defeat……..we need to dig down deep to where the “have to” lives ……..this series could get even harder ……….. we have already been through plenty of WTF moments this year from reporters, umps and former players…….and we are still here!!!!………….so I’m going to put on my Motown Rocket Pants and superglue my shit to the Train and ride baby!………….who’s coming with me!!!!
I am!
Like so much in life it hurts more to have it and lose it…. than to never have it at all.
no doubt. Thanks for stopping in! I think you played great for the lions, Aunt “Suh!”
