The Tigers took 3 out of 4 against the Minnesota Twins to win the series today.
Avisail Garcia cleared the bases with his first major league triple.
Scherzer went six smooth innings allowing only one earned, three hits, and three walks.
Relief did their job without surrendering a hit. Drew Smyly went 2 and 1/3 to close the game.
Torii Hunter hit a home run in the 1st inning to start Detroit up, 1-0.
Detroit (28-20) plays Pittsburgh (31-19) at Comerica Park twice for their next series.
