This started at halftime of the Knicks-Hornets game. Trailing only 4, the commentators barraged a bitter backlash against Lin because he was trailing finally, albeit by 4.
Sure, the phrase might have been OK in another context ( LIKE ONE WITHOUT ANYONE ASIAN), but how about some basic awareness?
Anyone who is writing or discussing sports obviously knew who Lin was, so it’s not like they forgot him.
