We blew this one. I’ll give ya that. But respect.

Here comes a recap from the wretches of my soul (NONETHELESS WE ACCEPT THE LOSS AND PLAN ON LEARNING THE FUCK FROM IT):

‘Twas extremely low-scoring to begin, with every shot clanking iron. Nonetheless, LA stayed so close until the final three minutes of the half, when a two-point comeback ran itself to our largest deficit of the series, -15.

A mini-run of approximately 10-0 ruined a sustained first two quarters with DeAndre Jordan in foul trouble. I don’t know why we looked so anxious, but, once again, myself included, we were.

This is the furthest the Clippers have ever made it. We’re extremely excited and maybe immaturely jittery, but I promise, we respect the game and will be taking every single possession seriously.

We didn’t play bad to start the third, cutting the deficit from an initial consistent 20 to 13 – but our defense sucked balls. Something was off.

Too many points were scored in our paint. Not enough hands up. WE HAVE TO TAKE THIS SERIES, MY DUDES – IT WILL NOT BE HANDED TO US. AND WE ARE THIS TEAM! WE’VE PROVED IT FOR WEEKS, MAYBE WE WERE A TAD OVERWHELMED, BUT MY GOD DO I BELIEVE.

We never could get the lead under double-digits. I just want us to stay the course, stay focused, and remember the road we’re on. I hated losing, but it’s in the rearview mirror.

Let’s take a day and rest before we show the world what we’re made of… ONE MORE, LA.
