Our DH/Catcher/1B was hurt for all of 2012 with a torn ACL and had to take his time recovering. Since the all-star break, Martinez is leading the majors in hits. He is even catching again.

For the first time all year today, he is batting over .300. A career .305 hitter, it was only a matter of time.
