I was actually crying with joy waiting for the Pistons pick… everything had fallen into place. A surprise #1 overall, Noels and McLemore remaining to keep the #6 and #7 picks from stealing our boy…
Trey Burke, the National Player of the Year, the best player in the draft, he who hails from the VICTORS – WAS SITTING THERE FOR THE TAKING.
JOE D, YOU FUCKING BLEW IT.
Analysis: After weeks of us hearing about the Pistons’ need for a point guard and their desire to move Brandon Knight to the 2, they passed on all three of the top point guards in the draft and drafted another 2-guard. That felt a bit odd.

WE PASSED ON TREY BURKE.
WE PASSED ON TREY BURKE.
WE PASSED ON TREY BURKE.
The Pistons broke Burke’s heart, as well as mine.
……………………..this was a colossal screw up from every angle………Player of the year from Michigan an’t play in Michigan…..if you guys are so business smart how do you boot this one away?…………….every Michigan fan in this state who saw the Championship game would be interested……maybe you haven’t been counting the empty seats at the Palace Joe but were getting our ass’s kicked out there………the SEC player of the year AIN’T SHIT COMPARED TO THE NATIONAL PLAYER OF THE YEAR! You could have filled the seats with pistons fans but instead you screw us over with another version of fantasy basketball……..everyone who saw Burke’s name on the back of a Pistons uniform would instantly know who he is……………..nobody knows or cares about another number 2 guard………..and his damn name won’t even fit on the jersey! Thanks for nothing……even the Lions know better than that….see you in the rear view mirror!!
