When I saw the clip of the injury, naturally, I was already aware that Bryant was calling it intentional. So when I watched it, I said, “Wait. That was it?”
Sure, it was a foul. No big deal.
It clearly wasn’t intentional or even an abnormal occurrence. Dahntay Jones just walked under Kobe while he was shooting. He didn’t calibrate his steps or break his rhythm just “to hurt” Bryant, but that’s what he and ESPN and every major media outlet has us believing.
