Which one’s am I even talking about? The one’s post-game or the one’s off the ends of the Tiger bats?!

Anibal Sanchez pitched magnificently, going seven innings with just a two-run hiccup in the second inning. Sanchez surrendered five hits, no walks, and struck out five Rangers.

Austin Jackson answered the two-run inning with a home run he launched to left field with Victor Martinez on first base. The Tigers took the lead the following inning on a “Big Cat” double that sent Ian Kinsler home to score.

Alex Avila continues to mow down base runners. Avila gunned down Alex Rios for the second out in the fourth. That’s the 15th snarf he’s caught this season – best in the majors.

In the bottom of the fifth, Rajai Davis scored from first base on another Kinsler double to make it 4-2. The Tigers tacked on one more run when Torii Hunter beat out a double play try to score Kinsler.

An inning later, shortstop Andrew Romine catapulted his first career homer off the right field foul pole. The dugout mobbed the young snarf, giving us a 6-2 edge.

After the seventh inning stretch, Kinsler led off with his third straight double. Cabrera moved him to third, then Hunter brought him home with an infield groundout.

Al-Al and “Kroll Show” worked the last two innings. Al got a strikeout looking to end the eighth. Detroit emphatically turned a double play to finish the game, going Cabrera-Romine-Krol to make it a 7-2 Tigers win.

Rick Porcello pitches game three out of four tomorrow at 4:08 PM ET.
