Detroit led two after one quarter, 22-20. The Thunder tried to pull away in the second, but the Pistons hung in there, trailing only four at the break.

The Pistons led 74-69 with 3:40 to go in the 3rd until Kevin Durant scored six straight points. OKC went on a mini-run to end the quarter, leading 84-76 after a three-pointer at the buzzer.

In the fourth quarter, Piston Will Bynum brought the team back within four, 88-84. The Thunder continued to try and pull away with a double digit lead, but Piston Brandon Jennings knocked home a triple try with 20 seconds left to bring Detroit within five, 115-110.

119-110 was the final score. Durant scored 37 points to go along with seven assists and eight rebounds. He went 9-15 from the field and 17-19 from the free throw line. Russell Westbrook shot 5-19 and went without an assist.

Piston Rodney Stuckey went 5-7 off the bench for 17 points. Jennings finished with 22 and 11 assists, Josh Smith scored 25, and Greg Monroe shot 8-13 to score 20 with 15 rebounds.
