LA returned to STAPLES after the Grammy road trip out east.

After scoring 46 points in the opening quarter, the Clips maintained a double-digit lead for practically the entire game, including a 20-point edge at halftime, 69-49.

In fact, after going up 35-23, the Clippers never let the Rockets climb back under 10.

We looked to Blake Griffin down the stretch – Griffin commanded the ball in the post late in the game. He finished with 20 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals.

Chauncey Billups was big. He hit four 3’s to finish with 19 points. Caron Butler, the Clips second-leading scorer, also tallied 19. Chris Paul dished out 11 dimes.
