Paul (knee) will not play Monday against the Grizzlies, and could also sit out Tuesday’s game against the Rockets.
Spin: Paul sat out Monday’s shootaround with a swollen knee, which was enough for the Clippers to rule him out for Monday’s game. Paul has played at less than 100 percent before, but with the Clippers possessing a capable replacement in Eric Bledsoe, the team decided it was best to rest Paul until the swelling dissipates.

The big men for Memphis were non-existent down the stretch, whereas Marc Gasol gave Memphis an 11-9 early lead with a barray of J’s.
Eric Bledsoe started for Chris Paul, and I’ll be honest – I didn’t even notice it was Bledsoe and not Paul until they showed C-3PO in a sideline suit. Impressive stuff as always from BledSauce.
Starting in place of injured star Chris Paul, point guard Eric Bledsoe scored 14 points with four assists, zero turnovers, three rebounds, two steals and a ferocious rejection of a Tony Allen layup attempt, Bledsoe said it was all about “pacing” himself but staying aggressive.
Great team defense from the Clippers, who stepped up their intensity as game wore on.
