Don’t forget it, Pistons.

It was a Charlotte lead to begin the game, but Detroit closed the first quarter to trail only one. All the Bobcats – whoops, Hornets could do was hit three’s and feed Al Jefferson. Eventually, with a double team on Al and a halftime adjustment on the triples, the Pistons stopped both those options and completely shut Charlotte down.

We went on an 8-0 run to end the first half and lead by eight at halftime. “Moose” Monroe was our main option along with Andre. While the Hornets gave up going down low, we did not. Greg Monroe (same guy) drove coast to coast to beat the third quarter and expand a 20+ Pistons lead.

Charlotte’s coach was lacking presence. He didn’t take enough timeouts while his team withered away, ultimately losing by almost 30. Drummond gave the crowd a nice finish by throwing down an alley-oop no one thought he’d even catch.
