Detroit looked much more comfortable in this home game after maybe having some jitters in front of a sold-out Palace last night. We steadied our intensity for four quarters on a Brooklyn Nets roster that was without Deron Williams.

Greg Monroe anchored our squad, grabbing 17 boards, scoring, and dishing it out. Andre Drummond also started off much better tonight, getting us going in that first quarter. Some questionable calls nearly gave the Nets a halftime lead, but Kyle Singler coldly knocked down a three before the horn sounded.

The three point shooting is taking some getting used to! The Pistons launched 33 more in this game, making 11. Brandon Jennings made an exciting pair of 3’s in a row to keep us ahead in the 3rd. No one was really making a statement offensively for Brooklyn except an ugly snarf who liked to take 3’s, too, and then Detroit sent him to the bench in foul trouble.

We began to pull away in the fourth quarter thanks to Jonas Jerebko, who sparked us down the stretch and sent the lead up to double-digits. The energy was undeniable in Aurburn Hills after the win. So nice to see.
