-Wizards 31, Clippers 30 after one.

-Clippers 62, Wizards 51 at break. Crawford passes to Griffin who lobs it to Jordan for the alley-oop with three seconds left.

-Clipper lead reaches 16 in 3rd at 8:20 mark. Wizards go on run to make the difference seven after three.

-I had to mute the whiny announcers who couldn’t handle the swing; Washington got it to 95-92 and missed a three. Then, 97-95, but they missed two more 3’s.

-At 102-99, Jordan saved the score by blocking a player he rushed to defend under the hoop, then closing out a perimeter defender with the shot clock expiring, negating a successful put back.

-DeAndre Jordan makes 4/4 FTs when intentionally fouled at end of game after missing his tries earlier
*Beal misses his free throws in waning minutes
-Crawford two near half-court shots (end of 1st; 3rd with shot clock); finishes 2/7 on 3’s
-Griffin leads way on 12-20 shooting for 29 and nine rebounds
-Reddick 20 points on 7/11 with 3/5 three-pointers

The Wizards went 3/22 from downtown. Yikes.

Jordan scored 14 with 17 boards. His free throws were amazing. He was intentionally fouled earlier in the game and missed both. They hacked him again, and he missed them both. All it does is fire him up. He snagged the next rebound. Two plays later, they thought they were being cute on another intentional foul, but he made them. He ended the half with a vicious dunk on that alley-oop.

Washington tried to hack him with 2:21 left at 102-99, despite his stellar defense. He looked calm and confident as he sank them both. Washington’s coach looked so pissed. They went to the line themselves, and that’s when their shooting guard Bradley Beal missed two for two.

The Wizards fouled Jordan again at the 2:01 mark: he drained them. The crowd was so proud. Their coach looked defeated, and they gave up fouling. The game felt over.
