104-97, a close game.
Greg Monroe and Brandon Knight chipped in 22 points apiece, but the Pistons shot just 39.5% vs. 53.7% for the 76ers.
Down the stretch, Detroit kept Charlie V and Andre Drummond together without Greg Monroe for a while and JMax entirely.
I think Coach gets a little too cute down the stretch, forgetting the importance of defense when Charlie V makes another dagger 3. I see Vinny Del Negro do it, too, leaving Blake Griffin on the bench when he isn’t in foul trouble in the 4th quarter. It’s like the coach sees the bench doing well and forgets who the fuck his starters are and why he started them.
spot on!………….coach aint being paid to be cute………….just win baby…..keep the big boys out there for board crashing, elbow flying rebounds……….read the pistons’ history larryman!…..go back and look how the real Larry did it in Detroit……………………20 losses before Christmas is goin’ to be a big fat ass lump of coal…… so get on your horse!
