Snarf (snärf): A humorous occurrence and/or person, specifically one relating to the world of sport

About Us

The Sporting Snarf is a website dedicated to the enjoyable, humorous, and nuanced aspects of the sporting and (to a lesser extent) pop-culture world. We attempt to touch upon (in varying degrees of print/video length) engaging topics which are not discussed nearly enough. We'd love for you to give us your perspective, network, and participate regularly. But if you'd just like to join in on the mob-mentality and get all sanctimonious on a particular sports figure -- head on over to ESPN.com. (Mickey Mouse welcomes you.) Or you can keep it real with us.

Run it back: The rise and fall of New England

The Underdog New England Patriots… an underdog by 14 to the High Scoring Rams in Super Bowl Victory I. Fast forward past 2 more rings to an undefeated regular season and AFC title, a combined 18-0 record, and a 4th Super Bowl of The Tom Brady Era.

2008 Super Bowl vs. NYG.

Heavy 12 point favorite.

In the 2007 Regular Season the Patriots set records en route to a version of those shoot out Rams… we remember how this started, right? WITH A OFFENSIVE DYNASTY IN ST. LOUIS toppled by the underdog.

THE END

MVP to HELMET, lol.
