I hope Atlanta, the NFL, and everyone who watched understands what we just did. Instead of remembering a beatdown of NE, Lady Gaga’s electric halftime performance (the best of all-time with a nod to Prince), and all the festivities, we get to watch a team of Trump supporters parade around for an entire year.

The football gods gave the Falcons every single chance. After much cheating almost led to a 2nd quarter pats TD, the ball did not lie and was intercepted by ATL for a pick-6 and a 21-0 lead. They even scored first in the second half to lead 28-3. The rest of the game is enough to sour the entire memory of Super Bowl Sunday.

When you don’t finish, there is no confetti. When you fumble away a 16-point lead, allow both 2-point conversions, fail to run it or score a final field goal – there is no glory for you. It takes a whole season to reach the point we just left. And we all sat, right on the edge of glory, only to hand it away for the rest of sports history…
