The Lions did it. A frustrating game the referees seemed determined to keep close broke it’s tie as time expired and Matt Prater’s 40-yard field goal aired through the uprights.

I honestly couldn’t believe it. A few tears escaped my eyes as my dad, brother and I embraced… my bro had shown up for Thanksgiving with Minnesota facing our end zone on first and goal – and we held ’em. That made it 13-10 Vikings, but thanks to a final Matthew Stafford drive we tied it.

Darius Slay intercepted Sam Bradford in the final minute to give us the game-winning field goal try. It was our first Thanksgiving game at our new house, and after the way they’d overturned our interception earlier it sure felt like vindication.

A HUGE division win to give us the season series against the Vikings. Let’s carry this Michigan swag like we did today for our Pistons and Red Wings into Ohio State tomorrow and whoop some ass, Wolverine-style!
