Once upon a time, millions of years ago, we were allowed to play defense in the NBA.
But sometimes (Drumpf, Bernie…) you become so numb to what’s trending, you think it’s actually normal behavior. Call it mob-mentality, “lemmings,” etc.
It’s kind of scary to think for yourself. This is the history of man: the white-man lies and cheats his way to the top… and if you can’t beat ’em, join ’em. WRONG! Sometimes it just takes ONE voice to help everyone else find their balls.
How far has our collective NBA awareness fallen since the Clippers eliminated Golden State just two years ago! They were a cute small ball team unable to compete with anyone (LAC, SAS, MEM) with a post-presence. And then suddenly, when the Clippers sacrificed themselves, beating the Spurs in game 7, OKC was hurt, and Cleveland was missing 2 of 3 stars… we anointed a shitty non-defense 3-point jacking group of snarfs the champions.
Perspective…
….. its what happens when we let children into the cockpit….. they think they can fly the plane….. all have hijacked their proving grounds and turned it into a noisy daycare.
