Call it a comeback. Detroit and Jennings looked like the Grand Rapids Drive did with the NBAers on their roster, draining nearly half of thirty three’s in both contests and storming out to big wins.

Initially, Detroit dominated, forcing a Scott Skiles timeout at 21-6. Our defense was a little inconsistent, but with Andre Drummond and balanced scoring, the lead was never relinquished. We maintained about a ten point advantage going into halftime.

In the third quarter, the shots weren’t falling and the game was only ours by two points. That’s essentially when Jennings sunstituted in and took over, hitting a buzzer-beating 3 to end the 3rd that put us back up 14. The bench never needed any help, securing the lead by thirty points with fast-break offense.

Even though he’s not 100%, Jennings allowed our starters (who play a league-leading amount of minutes) to sit back and enjoy the show. The Pistons look like they’ve added a crucial weapon for the second half of the season.
