Murray took down Tomas Berdych in four sets to win the semi-final match.
There was some bad blood in the air already, for Andy’s old coach is now with Berdych. The first set was a battle that ended in a tiebreaker. Berdych ultimately won, then talked some shit to my boy as they crossed at the net. Berdych was also staring at Murray during the set.
I don’t know if you’ve seen the fiery Scottsman before, but Murray is never one to piss off. Berdych lit his flame, and Murray torched him 6-0 in the second set. Even our girl, his trusty girlfriend in the stands was letting Berdych have it.
Murray claimed the third set 6-3, then aced the match’s final point in a 7-5 finish – and this time it was Murray who stared down Berdych, pointing right at him instead of walking to the net for the customary handshake.
