Michigan State stunned the Baylor Bears with an improbable comeback that will stand the test of time AS THE BEST GAME (maybe) OF ALL TIME.

The Spartans scored first with a dominant rushing attack. Then, the Gay Bears showed their deep ball, a trend you’d better get used to. Michigan State went up 14-7, then Baylor tied it before the first quarter closed, setting up the stage for an old fashioned barn burner.

No one could stop the deep pass from Baylor, and they took a 24-14 lead going into halftime. After assuming an adjustment would be made in that department, the Golden Bears came out of the half and nailed another bomb, making everyone slam their headset in disgust. How can this still be happening?

Michigan State wasn’t lacking in the offensive anymore, we just kept stalling in Baylor land. Luckily, they missed a field goal, and they really showed their arrogance. Everyone was smiling and laughing like they’d already won, instead of holding themselves accountable for mistakes. They threw a touchdown to their fat offensive line men, and I believe they were singing (up 41-21). However, the fat lady still had an entire fourth quarter to play.

THE SPARTANS SHUT THEM OUT FOR THE ENTIRE FOURTH QUARTER. The defense stopped five of six third down conversions and finally stopped the long ball. Connor Cook kept his head up after two interceptions, leading his team down and connecting to his big tight end in the corner of the end zone. 41-28.

They had no running game, an essential cog to running out the clock. We did, continuing to ride our back en route to another touchdown. 41-35 – whole new ball game.

Now, it was crunch time. Baylor had themselves a golden opportunity to finish us off, but they facemasked on their way to the end zone, putting themselves back into field goal position instead. With one minute to play, STATE ROSE UP AND BLOCKED THE KICK, catching it, and then taking it into Bears’ territory.

Cook stepped right up (a la Stafford) and connected on a deep pass. From there, three incompletions set up an intensely dramatic fourth and ten. Cook found his Spartan along the sideline for the first down. (Exhale.)

Now, facing first and goal from about the ten, two incompletions set the clock down to around twenty seconds. From there, Cook nailed his received in the middle of the end zone for the touchdown. 41-41. State nailed the biggest extra point in recent memory with 17 seconds to go.

Expecting the team that had passed for 550 yards to air it out one more time, State pressured the Bears with a three-man blitz, sacking their QB on first and second down. They had given up inside. On third down, Sparty intercepted the Golden Pussys to end the game! UNBELIEVABLE!!
