NDamukong Suh, Megatron, and Glover Quinn were all named to this season’s Pro Bowl – a huge snub for several Lions.

1. DeAndre Levy, linebacker

“With all respect to Ndamukong Suh, Levy is the heart and soul of the Lions’ defense. He’s one of the smartest players in the league, seemingly knowing what play the opposing offense will run before they do it. He can cover tight ends and is incredible pursuing runners. Levy had a far better year than Clay Matthews, who made the team off name recognition,” (NFL.com.)

That was the number one snub IN ALL OF FOOTBALL. Furthermore, where’s Matthew Stafford? OR HOW ABOUT GOLDEN TATE? No offence to Megatron, but it’s been Tate at over 1,200 yards that deserved this slot. “Few receivers were more valuable in the first half of the season; Tate won multiple games on his own.”

So congratulations to Suh, Quinn, and Calvin Johnson – all worthy. But they deserve their fellow Lions, dig?

*Update: The above mentioned Lions were all named as alternates along with saftey James Ihedigbo, so if injuries occur they are the back-ups…. shiiiiiiiiiiiiit.

(Thankfully, the AFC kept it correct, naming nine Broncos to the Bowl.)
