I turned on the TV looking for the Pistons game only to find myself center stage with the Wolverines and Syracuse, 20 seconds left, Michigan up by one. Inbounding. Here we go!

After getting the ball to Derrick Walton, Jr., he went to the free throw line on a one-and-one. Walton hit the front of the rim and missed! Syracuse took the rebound and passed up the court – directly out of bounds feet in front of his teammate.

After another timeout in which our coach reminded us to get back on defense, Caris LeVert stepped up to the stripe. He missed the front end of a one-and-one, giving the ball back to the Orangemen with ten seconds left. They dribbled down the court and were trapped in the corner by Michigan, who stole the ball!

LeVert went back to the line and redeemed himself, swishing both tries. The Wolverines still had a foul to give, setting up one last inbound from halfcourt with 2.2 seconds left for Syracuse. They got off a long three, only to airball it short – much to the cheers of the crowd!

In a tumultuous day at Michigan that saw their head football coach Brady Hoke fired, it was nice to see a raucous crowd at Crisler Arena (the house that snarf built).
