The comeback kids make it three games in a row!
Matthew Stafford connected with Theo Riddick in the back of the end zone with under one minute left for a 20-16 Lions lead.
Miami took advantage of two Detroit miscues: their lone touchdown came via a blocked punt, and the Lions threw an interception after having just picked one themselves. Next time, BELIEVE IN THAT RUNNING GAME.
Megatron caught a 49-yard touchdown for our first score in his return.
The Lions defense kept them in it again, sacking the snarf out of Miami’s quarterback. Ndamukong Suh & Ezekiel Ansah each recorded a sack, and they forced and recovered a fumble together. On third and goal with the game tied, a defender for the Lions knocked the complete pass out of their tight end’s hands in the end zone.
Stafford anchored another game-winning drive (with Bobby Layne’s blessing) after the Dolphins kicked a go-ahead field goal in the final five minutes. Only that sidearmed throw could have found Riddick on the final play. He is the best quarterback in Detroit’s history…
……….Lions all time greatest is right….we are starting to believe cause the kid delivers……and the D rules…. did everything but steal Tannenhills’ shoes.
