Blasting out of the gate with a monster first inning in which they scored six runs, capped by Nick Castellanos’ three-run homer.

That run support helped Max Scherzer cruise for seven innings of one run ball. 007 struck out six and allowed six hits plus one walk on 99 pitches.

Of course, they hit a solo homer before Al promptly struck out the final two hitters. 7-2 was the final score.
