Welcome!

TheSportingSnarf  is a website dedicated to the enjoyable, humorous, and nuanced aspects of the sporting and (to a lesser extent) pop-culture world.  We attempt to touch upon (in varying degrees of print/video length) engaging topics which are not discussed nearly enough. We’d love for you to give us your perspective, network, and participate regularly. But if you’d just like to join in on the mob-mentality and get all sanctimonious on a particular sports figure — head on over to ESPN.com. (Mickey Mouse welcomes you.) Or you can keep it real with us.

Tigers Avenge Snarf Sox

Blasting out of the gate with a monster first inning in which they scored six runs, capped by Nick Castellanos’ three-run homer. Silver Surfer Needed Again

Adam Silver swooped in to ban Donald Sterling (effectively as a distraction during the 2014 playoffs), but now, he’s back in the spotlight. Endlessly. This is exhausting, Adam – it’s BULL SHIT. Get rid of this mother fucker once and for all, or we will all continue to suffer. Doc Rivers will leave. Trust me. […]

Tigers Get Their Man

“I’m going to a new team and that’s going to be my new family and I will do whatever they want me to do,” said Soria of the Tigers where he most likely will become a setup man to Joe Nathan. “I want to help them win the World Series, that’s what this is all […]

Noisettes – Never Forget You

The single was chosen as of one of USA Today’s “Picks of the Week” for 14 July 2009 with the following comment, “the Brit pop trio’s bubbly soul ditty is, thanks to Shingai Shoniwa’s sweet crooning, reminiscent of an early Motown party groove.”[4] via Never Forget You (Noisettes song) – Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. At […]
