12 RUNS BABY!
There is too much action to recap everything, so here are the highlights:
-Anibal Sanchez gets the W after we blew three solid starts from him in a row. He deserved this one, giving up three earned on just six hits in six innings pitched. His ERA is chillin’ in the low 2s (he led the AL last season).
-Victor Martinez teed off again, his 17th. That put us up 5-1, and we’d end that inning up 8-1.
-Eugenio Suarez hit his 3rd home run in eight career starts. He was humble about it, too, keeping it going en route to the “poor man’s cycle:” a walk, double, triple, and the home run.
