With runners on first and second, Ian Kinsler delivered a shot to the left-center field gap that drove in the winning run for Detroit in the bottom of the tenth inning.

Max Scherzer pitched eight scoreless innings, setting up our new closer to blow the first save of the season.

Alas, we prevailed in the extra inning thanks to a leadoff walk by Austin Jackson, who eventually scored that run.

Kinsler also scored the previous Tiger run with a solo belt over the fence in the same spot as his game winner.

It was electric again on a sunny afternoon. Our Manager challenged two calls and got them both back.
