Jimmy “The Magician” Howard stopped all three shootout tries, and the usually subdued goalie pumped his stick (lol) with one skate raised in the air, triumphantly celebrating the Red Wings win.
Detroit kept it at one for sixty minutes and an additional five. Then, Tomas Tatar, the MVP of our Calder Cup Championship broke the tie in the shootout. Tatar gave the goalie a move for the ages, juking him completely to the right before crossing back over and flipping the puck home.
