They were so desperate to stop The Mule they resorted to cheap shots on a guy who just came back from a concussion. Eventually, Franzen and another snarf for the Senators were ejected. Reminded me of when the Warriors got Blake tossed on Christmas. It’s bush-league bullshit.
That’s why we won 6-1 in Ottawa. Our goalie stopped over 30 shots, including several on the power play. Tomas Tatar added a nice goal, too.
