Let me illustrate my frustrations with one stretch of play:

The Pistons led six with roughly three minutes remaining in the half. Our coach calls timeout with the lead at four, two and a half left. We promptly turn it over out of the timeout, then allow the Spurs to go ride down the lane uncontested. That’s right out of a timeout.

We trailed by four despite another Detroit timeout before the half ended. Andre Drummond was unstoppable, snagging every rebound in the fourth quarter. The Spurs won it 120-110.
