SEEN:

-Captain Phillips (8.5)
Incredible acting by Tom Hanks (a snub for Best Actor). It is the true story of the Somalian pirating from 2009. I felt bad for the pirates, though. Barkhad Abdi deserves his nomination for Best Supporting Actor.

Somalian Pirates We! – Video Clips – South Park Studios.

-Dallas Buyers Club (9.5)
Another true story of a man with AIDS fighting for the medication he
need to live. This brave story really shows how fucked up people in pain
have it. Jared Leto is my pick for supporting actor.

-12 Years a Slave (10.0)
The honest portrayal of slavery. Amazing film that sheds no horror. Brave roles from the leading actor and supporting actress, both rightfully nominated for Oscars. My pick for Best Picture.

-The Wolf of Wall Street (9.5)
A funny look into the 4th out of 4 true stories, a con artist of Wall
Street. He suckers honest people out of millions before going to jail.
DiCaprio and Jonah Hill are hilariously bad.

-American Hustle (10.0)

Great movie (loosely based on a true story!). My favorite actor so far in male and female goes to Christian Bale and Amy Adams. This was a really clever movie that has you on your toes from start to finish. And it’s hilarious. Bale is the man this year.
