Suck It, Plums

Welcome back, Mr. Big Shot.

The Pistons cruised to a big lead early, up 30-17 after one quarter. They led the Nets 67-44 at halftime. Damn.

Detroit and Brooklyn each netted 29 in the third, giving the Pistons 96 points after three. The Nets made their run in the 4th, but it wasn’t enough.

Final score: 111-95. There was no love lost between these two teams. Brandon Jennings held the ball with the clock expiring and launched an unnecessary 3, draining it at the buzzer. Insult to injury? Fuck yeah, Nets.

It was a near triple-double for Jennings, who led the team with 26 points, 10 rebounds, and 9 assists. He only needed 13 shots, nailing five 3’s. Every Piston starter reached double-digits, and we shot over 50% as a team. Josh Smith scored 23, 8, and 7, while Andre Drummond snagged 22 rebounds (eight offensive) with 16 points.
