I can tell you this: if it’s happened before, it wasn’t very often. Detroit outshot their opponent the Orlando Magic from the free throw line en route to a 103-87 win in Motown.
Drummond made three of his four tries and snagged 17 rebounds. The Pistons dominated on the glass 56 to 40 with 17 offensive rebounds. That helped lead to nine more field goal attempts than the Magic. Seven blocks also secured the paint for Detroit compared to two by Orlando.
The Pistons had a big lead (18) going into the 4th quarter and solidly maintained it, not willing to let a 5th straight game slip away with solid defense. The subs all got time.
Josh Smith went 8-12 with 16 points, two blocks and a steal in 30 minutes. Brandon Jennings scored a game-high 20 along with eight assists and three steals.
