Michigan Takes Nittany Lions @Crisler

The Wolverines seemed to have it easy, but when you’re in the big ten, every night is a reminder to stay in the moment.

Michigan won 80-68, leading all night. However, Penn State, who looked out of it with a 13 point deficit in the waning moments of the first half, closed the half down seven. Then, they took the second half quickly down to two.

Then bricked a three.

And Michigan woke up.

We played strong defense without fouling and only committed six turnovers on the night for a smart second half.

  • Michigan Topples #3 Maryland in Ann Arbor Without seniors Spike Albrecht and Caris LeVert, the Wolverines withheld the onslaught from the visiting third-ranked team in the country. • The G of Bill Walton Here’s a collection of what I was able to catch during the 2nd half of Bill Walton announcing the St. John’s-Vanderbilt game this afternoon: Bill is not a fan of the double-double: “The double-double is the most overrated in the history of stats.“ While talking about some swimming team staying near his hotel: “17 of [...]

TheSportingSnarf is a website dedicated to the humorous, nuanced, and enjoyable aspects of the sporting and (to a lesser extent) pop-culture world. We attempt to touch upon (in varying degrees of print/video length) engaging topics which are not discussed nearly enough.
