I checked in at the beginning of the 4th quarter, Clippers down one.

I didn’t notice Chris Paul gone, but we found ourselves down six about the time I heard the announcement.

Dirk had hit one of his ’11 fadeaways, and it looked bad for the Clips in Dallas. That’s when they rallied.

With team defense, especially Blake putting the pressure on Dirk’s fall-away, we ended the game on a 9-0 run to win 119-112.

In his home state, DeAndre Jordan came through clutch with 25 points including a big and-one in the final minutes. He made the free throw, finishing 11-14 from the floor with 18 rebounds, six offensive. Griffin grabbed 15 himself, five offensive, and also sunk two clutch free throws down the stretch. He scored 25, too, and both him and Jordan logged 41 minutes. Jordan blocked three shots, and Griffin did not record a turnover.

Darren Collison will be needed now. He was solid in Paul’s absence, taking just 10 shots but making six and getting to the line, going 8-8 for 20 points. It was perfect. He is durable, playing 35 minutes.
