I didn’t watch much of this game. In fact, due to snarf circumstances, I had to leave my Clips trailing five after Blake Griffin’s technical around the three minute mark.

When I saw the score late in the night, I was ecstatic.

The Clips blew a large early lead but didn’t break.

Right after I left, the Kings bricked a jumper then did the worst possible thing they could: got T’d up themselves (D. Cousins). +1. Clips down two after Blake adds two FTs.

The Kings scored on each of their next possessions, but the Clips put up two 3’s, tying the game at 98. Chris Paul drained the tying three as the shot clock expired.

Cousins then got fouled and ensued to miss both his FTs, giving LA the ball with 1:14 on the clock.

Paul drove to the hole and scooped in the lay-up while being fouled. He missed the free throw, putting LA up 100-98 with 1:04 to play.

Isaiah Thomas got to the line for the Kings and made his freebies, re-tying the game.

On the next play, Paul found a driving Griffin for the dunk with 44 seconds remaining.

Thomas, however, went back to the stripe, knocking them down for the 102 tie, 24 seconds left.

CHRIS PAUL TIME.

The little assassin drew the foul, making one of two tries for a 103-102 score.

The Kings inbounded to Cousins with 1.9 seconds left. Cousins caught the ball between the free throw line and the three-point arch, and with DeAndre Jordan standing tall, Cousins air balled the final shot.
