The Yankees won the game, and even the series, but once again Sunday, they felt the comeback wrath of the Detroit Tigers.

Trailing 4-2 against Mariano Rivera, Miguel Cabrera became the only player in the history of Rivera’s major league career to take him deep in back-to-back at bats, bringing the Tigers withing one, 4-3.

The Tigers weren’t done. Victor Martinez stepped up and belted one into the upper deck, tying the game 4-4.
