I hate the Chicago Blackhawks. Not because they are good, but because they are dirty snarfs.
The way their captain has spent his time in the penalty box, the way they came out in game one looking like playground bullies, the way they were fined by the NHL for shooting pucks into our net during warm-ups – these fucks do the mess around worse than any NHL team in recent memory. FUCK THEM!
Our boys closed out a shortened season strong. We are that team this year. Check the snarf records – I rooted for the Bruins and the Kings, respectively, en route to their Cups. They were a great underdog feel, and I feel that same way about my Detroit Red Wings this season. We are a bottom seed, and in the NHL, that means you play the highest seed left. No reward for beating the Ducks, a 2 seed, in round one.
If we bring the game seven spirit we displayed in Anaheim and close these snarfs out, we will win. We are the better team, and the Blackhawks know it. They’ve been desperate since the puck dropped. Jimmy Howard will protect us; it’s up to us to defend him.
