…They needed someone to dance with in the finals: That’s us, baby.
We may have ran out of time, but Louisville knows they escaped.
Still dizzy from the fouling, I post you
We made it all the way past everyone to reach the end. We were dominating a notably inferior Cardinal team until Anorexic-Kevin Love made it rain, and we still led 38-37 at the half.
We couldn’t find a defensive groove, however, with some atrocious reffing on Trey Burke and Mitch McGary and constant fouling on Louisville’s part.
Sometimes, the sports world sucks. They cheat. They foul. They run away like Rick Pitino with your trophy.
BUT – we still played great – all season, all Big Ten long, and all tournament. We made it 6 games. No one else can say that except the Champs.
For that, WE ARE MICHIGAN, the dancing queen (head held high, snarfs).
…………..Michigan and the big Ten are still the class act!!……everybody saw that block by Tre was nothing but ball and no foul!……and Michigans’ coach was nothing but quiet cool reminding people of the program and the good times ahead …..but let me say it……games cannot be decided by bullied officials who find their whistles but not their stones……..If the title game is a blow-out then let it play out ….don’t try to keep the game close by balancing calls with the scoreboard……this Tournament is becoming bogged down with late whistles and momentum stops!!
Exactly!! Well said, it was hard to take.
