Friday flashback: With the Tigers trailing 3-1 and the one and only Shannon Hogan being interviewed about Prince Fielder bobblehead night, Fielder, at the plate, crushes a two-run shot to tie it 3-3.

If that wasn’t enough, he put Detroit ahead for good 5-3 with another two-run home run.

Saturday, the Tigers fell behind 3-0 after leaving a lot of good opportunities on base. Johnny Peralta tried to make a comeback, giving the Tigers a two RBI single. That’s where it ended, though, 3-2 final.

Sunday, things started with a bang for Detroit. After skipping starter Anibal Sanchez, Doug Fister lead off for the pitching staff. Fister allowed one base runner in the first, and Detroit responded with five runs in support. In the next frame, Fister would surrender four runs. Then Baltimore decided to snarf our hitters, we couldn’t score. With only 5 total runs, Detroit couldn’t afford to give up any, and they did. 3 more. 7-5, dammit.

Next up: Tigers (64-57) vs. Toronto (56-65) on Tuesday @Detroit 7:05 ET.
