Stephen A. and Skip making good points about Westbrick taking too many shots. Call it coaching, he’s the PG and he’s not distributing the ball properly to keep everyone involved, namely Kevin Durant. That’s an unfulfilled responsibility. (MORE LIKE A TRAVESTY – THIS IS DURANT, THE SCORING CHAMPION.) Harden took two shots in the second half (made both) after his nice close in the first half. Durant should never tell his PG to shoot more than him. Does he know who he is?
I WROTE THIS BACK IN FEB:
It is ridiculous to let someone fuck with Durantula, a beast that should in no way ever be allowed to be restricted from shooting by anyone, and with Westbrook, it’s what happens.
How can this be allowed?
Obviously, Russell is a talented scorer, but he should play his part.
IT’S DURANT.
Stop taking his shots as a #1 priority. A proper facilitator is crucial if you are feeding Durantula.
