Leading the Boston Bruins back. https://thesportingsnarf.com/?p=2807

This post coincided with the 8-1 game and the rally to tie it 3-3, eventually leading to the Cup.

I told the Bruins, down 2-0 but losing both games by one, to get it going and make it a series. They had scored 11 seconds into the 2nd period, taking a 1-0 lead when I told them, “Let’s go baby, make it a stanley cup.”

I really felt this connection, we stormed to the 8-1 win and never looked back, despite losing game 5 1-0. The Bruins held on in 7, winning their first cup in 39 years.

I felt like Boston just needed one little push – they lost 3 games in the series by a combined score of 5-2, yet outscored the Canucks 21-3 in 4 W’s. It was Boston’s 3rd game 7 of the 2011 postseason.
