Damn, Sebastian Janikowski is a Scary Snarf.

The Detroit Lions won today, 28-27, over the Oakland Raiders to improve their record to 9-5.

Upon recovering a Lion fumble in Detroit territory 6 yards for a TD, the Raiders looked like they had it up 27-14 with 7:47 remaining in the 4th quarter.

Lion QB Matthew Stafford responded with a drive that came to a 4th down in the redzone. Stafford scrambled for the 4th down conversion, then scored on a 3-yard throw to Titus Young. 27-21 Raiders. 4:59 left.

Oakland stalled on the ensuing drive, punting to the Detroit 2-yard line. Stafford started the drive with a few completions, then Calvin Johnson caught two catches that moved Detroit from their own 18 to the Raider 13-yard line. The most work was done on a 48-yard haul by Megatron, who then put the Lions ahead with a TD catch, his 2nd on the afternoon, for 6 yards.

98-yard drive in 95 seconds, 28-27, Lions. 39 seconds left.

However, the Raiders never gave up, attempting a last-second 65-yard Janikowski bomb. From ESPN:
