Pittsburgh, PA – It’s been quite a while since I can remember a goalie fight occurring. Of course the great [insert Red Wings goalie here] vs. Patrick Roy fights are a thing of the distant past, along with the Wings-Avs rivalry. This past week, though, saw the closest thing to a goalie fight in today’s new NHL. The fight lasted about 10 seconds until the Penguins’ Brent Johnson (proud Farmington Falcon!) knocked the Islanders’ Rick DiPietro to the ice with one left hook. Here is a video clip for your viewing pleasure.
